Dear friends,

these days I was quite suddenly informed by the Dutch Waterski Federation that they have decided NOT to organize the Cableski World Championships in Alphen a/d Rijn as announced at the end of the last year. This came as a big surprise to me as I was not informed of any potential problems until then.

Meanwhile I and some others are working hard to solve this situation and to find another site to hold the Worlds. I can not give any details yet, just that in the moment things look very promising and I believe to be able to inform everyone about the solution at the beginning of July.

My requests for now are:

• Do not panic. There is no reason yet.

• In case you have booked tickets for airplanes or made any travel arrangements, please do not change them yet. The date will definetely stay the same (+- one day). If teams have made any hotel reservations for the official announced hotel already – these can be canceled.

• I personally did receive intentions to enter from the following countries:
  - Israel
  - Czech Republik
  - Slovakia
  If any other country has sent it's intention to enter and it is not listed here (and that means you most probably did only sent it to the Dutch Federation, who I asked to sent me everything but I did not recieve it yet) – please sent it to me!

As soon as I have new informations I will publish them on www.cableski.org.
